Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Enterprise Applications, the IT Applications Analyst will be a subject matter expert for SharePoint and the Power Platform. They will work with end users to understand requirements and develop solutions using a variety of tools and techniques. This person’s duties include but are not limited to application administration, solution development, end-user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting business processes and procedures.
A qualified candidate must have a proven track record of excellent customer service and professional client interactions, as well as experience applying in-depth technical support and detailed product knowledge to proactively provide technology and administrative support for all internal applications and technology products.
Key Responsibilities:
- SharePoint Administration: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the SharePoint environment, including site collections, libraries, lists, workflows, and security settings.
- Document Management: Manage file migrations to and from SharePoint and other document management systems. Utilize metadata tagging to ensure compliance with our data retention and sensitivity policies.
- Power Platform Development: Design, develop, and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- System Integration: Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Solution Design: Develop technical specifications and design documents for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Power Platform applications, including issue resolution and performance optimization.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and create comprehensive documentation for solutions and procedures.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all SharePoint and Power Platform solutions comply with company policies, industry standards, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and deploying custom solutions.
- 3-5+ years of experience in business applications or Information Technology, with a solid understanding of business analysis principles and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and additional years of related experience in business applications, IT, or business analysis.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate IT support is preferred; Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) experience is a plus.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated skill in critical thinking and innovative solution design.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute system changes in an organized and efficient manner.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.
- Quick learner with a collaborative mindset, capable of adapting to evolving business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience managing Power BI environments is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant or SharePoint Administrator certifications are highly valued.
- Knowledge of Sharegate for migrations and reporting, SaaS integrations, and experience with document management systems beyond SharePoint is a plus.
- Familiarity with data retention and classification labels in a Microsoft environment is beneficial.
What you will get in return:
The base salary for this role is in the range of $76,271 - $121,656. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
